Always clean and great selection of cream pies. I tried the new addition (peach cream) it was soooo GOOD.

Iconic pie house just north of the Heights; they have a limited menu but by golly they have a lot of pies! Choose from fruit pies, cream pies, cheesecakes, and some seasonal options. Just walking in the door smells like heaven! Most of the year, you can buy by the slice, but not at high traffic times around the holidays.

Best pies ever! My favorite is the chocolate pie. This place just feels like home walking in, like I'm walking into my Grandmas kitchen, it just has this vibe of wholeness. Thank you Flying Saucer for your incredible pies and service!

May 9, 2020 6:20pm. I called them to check if they still had strawberry cream pie they said yes. As soon as I arrived they told me they had ran out. I drove 30min to get there wasted an hour driving. She didn't even seem to care that I had called.

What else can I say that hasn't been said about this Iconic establishment! Great pies! Any flavor you need ! If you don't believe me, go during a holiday and wait in the line running down Crosstimbers while the newscrew from every station is covering this event!

I've been craving one of your delicious pies. So my husband made the stop and got a few. They tasted very old. Such a huge disappointment. We love yall pies! 😭

I went a week before Thanksgiving to see what all the hoopla is about, people standing in line for 25 hrs to get pies. I had a lemon creme and an apple pie. Nothing special about these pies. Taste like they came from the frozen section of the grocery store. I think people just want something to do that is not in there normal routine. They like the hype. Maybe my taste buds are too well seasoned, because I like a lot of flavorrrrrr!!!!

The pies were ok and so was the service. Nothing great about either however, I was extremely upset to witness the young lady who was on the cash register was also handling another customer's slices of pie with the SAME GLOVES as she took the money with! YUCK! So much cross contamination.

Been going here for years however after today i dont think ill be back after watching the lady in front handle money when it came our turn to get pies we asked her please replace your gloves as you were just handling money she rolled her eyes and shook her head as she walk off ..VERY RUDE!! With all going on with covid we just wanna be safe!SO DISAPPOINTED!!

I bought the chocolate cream pie and a slice of their season peach cream pie! The slice was delicious, love the peaches- great for the summer! Wasn't able to take pictures, all gone before I realized I didn't document the deliciousness 😅

Awesome , freshly made pies. They are expensive. Far more than Mrs Smith's frozen but we'll worth it. Give it a try and get hooked. But brush your teeth after eating it. Or you'll make the dentist a happy happy man. Hahaha.

I got the Dutch apple pie and the pecan pie. I stopped in on the August 13,2019. Driving to doctors and saw this pie shop so I stopped in to buy a regular apple pie ended up buying two different pies. I normally do not eat sweets or fruit pies. But I have to say they were the best pie I've ever eaten. Two thumbs up👍👍

It is always good getting pies from here.Tend to be crowed in holidays and probably you would not get the pie you want, so plan ahead. Plenty of good pie choices though.

I being buying flying sources pie for years but I had moved out of Houston for 9 years but Am back and I just bought my favorite piesStrawberry, Lime OMG !!!! I thank the Lord first and Flying Sources Pie owners . I love your pies I live in Katy and it takes 30 min to get there butTo me is worthy . Cherry and Peach slice $3.50 small slice, not a good size and both slices were falling apart and skimpy on the fillings... I will not be returning.

Pies are too sweet. They have the potential to be the best; the crust is amazing. No need to add so much sugar to the filling when the crust and topping are both sweet. Great home style place and always fast and friendly .

Best pie ever. The strawberry pie and the cheesecake strawberry are great. They're all good get what you like.

Okay so these pies are not what they use to be. The whipped cream on my banana pie tasted rancid and my strawberry cheesecake was nothing but strawberry jelly (it's not FRESH strawberries!) and mushy cream filling. I'll rather purchase my pies from House of Pies in the Woodlands. I do not recommend these pies.

We tried durch apple pie and BlackBerry pie which were excellent. Strawberry cream pie seemed to have food coloring in it and was overly sweet. However we will go again to get fruit pies.

Very disappointed with my recent purchase of an apple pie. The apple pie had a very thick crust with very little apple in it. Also threw away the thick top crust. I hope the thickness of the crust of this particular apple pie is an exception to the rule. Will give them one more try. I have bought other fruit pies from this shop in the past and I was quite satisfied with those. Was there a recent change of management or ownership?

I was fortunate enough that someone brought these to our thanksgiving luncheon and I have to say, it was the best pecan pie EVER! Taste homemade!!! Can’t wait to get some more and try other pies too, yummy! Now, I won’t mind the infamous long line wait. It’s so worth it!

This is my to-go for dessert! I agree with other reviews that it may not necessarily be the best tasting. However, for the unbeatable prices, convenience and availability, it is worth the trip! They always have a variety of pies available at all times. With bakeries and dessert shops, there is always a possibility that they deplete their supply but not Flying Saucer!

The pies are really good!! The lines on the week of Thanksgiving are outrageous! That week come extra early, bring a chair and a friend because you will wait for hours depending on your arrival time.

Tasty pies, smiling faces and great prices for slices or whole pies. Got the wrong slice, let the know and they replaced it for the correct one at no additional charge.

Best pie in TEXAS. We have been eating Flying Saucer pies back when we had to go to the cafeteria in Northline Shopping Center where they told us the Flying Saucer had just opened on Crosstimbers. We now drive 70 miles to get the BEST PIES in Texas. (The cafeteria in the shopping center was serving Flying Saucer pies). I'm 85 and I KNOW good pies when I eat one!

This place is absolutely divine! The pies are to die for, and the prices are amazing! I’d recommend their cherry pie, the amount of cherries in it are perfect, for they don’t over stuff it to where it’s too sugary. This places is better than anything I’ve had before. Thank you Flying Saucer!
